This Privacy Policy and this Cookie Policy (together, hereinafter, “Privacy Policy”) govern the processing of users’ personal data (hereinafter “User” or “Users”), collected in the context of the use of this website (hereinafter, “Website”), by CIBERBIT – Produções de Software, S.A. (hereinafter, “CIBERBIT”). 

CIBERBIT is focused on protecting your privacy and personal data, having, thus, adopted this Privacy Policy and the practices described herein. CIBERBIT – Produções de Software, S.A., with VAT number 503550809, whose registered office is at Parque Empresarial De Eiras, 19, 3020-265 Coimbra, is the Data Controller (“Controller”), determining the purposes and means of the processing of personal data in the context of its activity.  

Access to and use of the Website does not require Users to share personal data. However, the use of certain features of the Website may involve the provision of personal data. For example, we need to have access to your personal data should you want us to contact you to answer any enquiries you may have.  

As such, whenever the User wishes to contact Ciberbit, in addition to the contacts provided, he/she may request to be contacted directly through the contact request form available on the Website, which requires Ciberbit to collect a set of personal data, namely, name, e-mail and phone number. In this case, the provision of these data is mandatory and without them it will not be possible to answer adequately to your contact request. 

2. DATA SUBJECTS’ RIGHTS 

In accordance with the applicable data protection legislation, data subjects may, at any time, exercise the following rights:

As such, CIBERBIT shall retain your personal information only for the period strictly necessary for the provision of the services, for compliance with legal obligations and to allow the exercise of the rights of data subjects and the fulfilment of the corresponding obligations. 

In the event of a pending dispute, personal data may be kept for a period of up to six months after the respective court decision has become final.

These entities may access and process data on CIBERBIT’s behalf and are bound to strictly follow CIBERBIT’s instructions. Depending on the nature, scope, context and purpose of the data processing, as well as the risks to the data subject’s rights and freedoms that arise from said processing, CIBERBIT commits to implement all the technical and organizational measures necessary to comply with the relevant data protection legislation.  

Furthermore, CIBERBIT is also committed to processing only the necessary personal data required for each specific processing purpose and that such data is not made available to anyone who should not have access to it.

 CIBERBIT will make its best efforts to ensure and maintain in operation all technical and organizational measures at its disposal to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access, and misappropriation of personal data. CIBERBIT makes its best efforts so that the Website does not carry any type of virus or other malicious software to your computer or mobile device. Without prejudice, since CIBERBIT is unable to fully control the flow of information over the Internet, it is not possible to guarantee that it does not contain any type of virus or other elements that could damage your device, strongly recommending to keep operating systems up to date and using protection software such as antivirus or, where applicable, firewall. 

CIBERBIT declines any responsibility for damages suffered by Users caused or not by third parties, including loss or damage of data, resulting from the use of materials, contents or information provided, in any way, by CIBERBIT.
